This notice explains how worldfortravel.com (World for Travel) handles information when you read our guides, use the trip planner, follow a booking link or contact us.

Site operator and contact

This site operates under the name worldfortravel.com (World for Travel). For enquiries about the site or this notice, the designated contact address is info@worldfortravel.com.

Trip-planner choices

The Madeira planner uses your selected trip length, transport preference and interests to recommend guides in your browser. The current planner does not submit those choices to a server or save them to cookies or browser storage. It does not ask for your name, email or travel dates.

Accounts, forms and analytics

The current site has no visitor accounts, newsletter signup or contact-submission form. No advertising pixels are installed. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and page performance without visitor cookies. Our booking-click counter records the provider, guide path and campaign label, plus a count. We do not add names, email addresses, IP addresses, visitor identifiers or trip-planner selections to that counter. A click is not a confirmed booking or payment. Our counter respects the browser's Do Not Track setting.

External booking services

Booking links lead to Stay22, Discover Cars, Viator or GetYourGuide. The links contain identifiers for the referring site and guide; property searches may also contain the property name and location. They do not contain the choices you make in our trip planner. When you visit a provider, its own privacy and cookie practices apply. Enter your personal and payment information only on the provider you choose.

Fonts and technical requests

The site requests fonts from Google Fonts. Loading those fonts connects your browser to Google servers, which receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser headers. The website host also receives the requests needed to deliver pages and images. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site using Workers and its network. It processes technical requests, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver pages and provide security. These technical requests are separate from the limited fields we record in the booking-click counter.

Cookies and browser storage

Our current page and planner code does not intentionally set visitor cookies or save planner selections to browser storage. Booking providers may use cookies on their own sites. Hosting and security services may use necessary technologies to protect delivery. We do not run an advertising-pixel or personalised-advertising integration on this site.

Email and privacy requests

The designated contact address is info@worldfortravel.com. Sending an email shares the address and information you include with the recipient and relevant email services. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards contact messages to our Gmail inbox. We use your address, message and any attachments to respond to your enquiry and handle site or privacy requests. Do not send sensitive documents or payment details. Cloudflare and Google operate international services, so processing may take place outside your country.

Your questions and requests

Contact us at info@worldfortravel.com to ask about information in an enquiry you sent us, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your circumstances. Tell us enough to locate your enquiry, but do not include identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary.
